Accessibility support for those who need it

Fundraising should be for everyone. If you or someone you know has a disability, we're here to help.

Help with reading online

If you need to change the colour, font style or size of the text, follow these links:

If you're using another browser not mentioned above, please check their "Help" facility to find out how to carry out similar actions.

Some browsers will let you use your own stylesheet in place of ours, along with a number of other accessibility tools.

Using our site with the help of screen readers

There are apps and software you can download that will read out the content of our website. Examples include:

  • JAWS
  • NVDA
  • Voiceover

Some of our pages still need to be updated to make them fully accessible but we're on the case and will update these pages soon. If you have any trouble using our website with certain screen readers, we want to put that right. Please let us know by contacting the Virgin Money Giving Team.

Help with using Portable Document Files (PDFs)

Sometimes you'll find information on our website provided in a PDF format. You'll need to have Adobe Reader® on your computer to read these documents. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can get it free from the Adobe website. To read PDFs with a screen reader you can link to the Access Adobe website which provides useful tools and resources.

Call us with Text Relay

The Next Generation Text (NGT) Service can help if:

  • you can't hear a voice on a telephone call
  • need time to hear everything the other person is saying
  • the person on the other end has difficulty understanding what you're saying.

Find out more about Text Relay on the Next Generation Text website.

Using your voice instead of a keyboard and mouse

Your computer or device can be set up to use spoken words to control your browser and other software.

Search your settings for 'voice recognition', 'speech recognition' or 'dictation' options. Or for more advanced voice recognition software, try Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Some of our pages still need updating to make everything run smoothly, but we're on the case. If you find a page that doesn't work, please contact our Virgin Money Giving Team and we'll do our best to fix it as soon as possible.
